Orthopedic Surgeon Job, Mississippi Opportunity

Orthopedic Surgeon:  Brandon, MS.  BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon needed to start a new service.  Competitive Base Salary (based on experience) and 100% of practice profits after overhead. Medical Malpractice. 15 days of Vacation Paid Holidays.  Paid CME.  Group Health & Dental Insurance.  401(k) retirement.  Generous Relocation/Moving allowance that includes a house hunting trip Generous Sign-On Bonus.

This opportunity will be an employed* position with a competitive salary (based on experience), and 100% of practice profits after overhead. *Plans are to transition the physician to private practice using a contract model that allows the physician to build “equity” in the practice during the last six months of employment.

Jackson, Ms.  Medical Center is seeking two (2) Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeons to form a new practice in the new Medical Office Building located adjacent to hospital.  A strong primary care referral base and a medical staff of over 300 physicians combine to give the new physicians an opportunity to build a very successful practice with a cohesive, supportive medical staff. Clinic call will be one in two; unreferred call in the ER will be 7 days per month. The physician should expect to see a variety of cases, such as total hips, knees, and shoulders, as well as general orthopedics.
