General Radiology Physician Job, South Carolina Opportunity

Radiology/Radiologist South Carolina: The seven-county Lakeland’s community of South Carolina has a tremendous opportunity in the area of Radiology.  The area currently has eight radiologists serving a population of about 250,000.  There is a need for eight additional radiologists to serve the region.

This busy private practice includes six board-certified general radiologists.  They have offices in the hospital as well as in the Imaging Center, a separate recently constructed state-of-the-art outpatient diagnostic facility located across the street from the hospital.  Most of their call responsibilities are handled with teleradiology.  The practice is seeking to add a BE/BC general radiologist.  

The department of radiology is well equipped with technology including Acuson Sequoia Ultrasound, GE 1.5T MRI with excite technology, GE CTI CT scanner, GE Liqhtspeed Muti-slice CT Scanner and Radworks Teleradiology System.  Technology in the recently constructed freestanding Imaging Center includes Philips E-Z Diagnost Digital Fluoro, Fuji Smart CR, Hitachi .7T Open MRI, GE Senograph 2000 D Digital Mammo, R-2 Image Checker for Mammography and Hologic QDR DELPHI-SL Bone Densitometry System.
