Internal Medicine/Internist South Carolina: This is a growing, multi-specialty, six physician practice. The practice was established in 1952 and is housed in a modern office building. Infectious disease, pulmonology & critical care and general internal medicine are represented.  This group is seeking a BE/BC general internist.  All members of the group share call coverage equally including ICU coverage.  

 The hospital has ten medical and ten surgical ICU beds which was opened in 1990.  Our ICU includes a state-of-the art SpaceLabs monitoring system and many unusual design features: Spacious rooms with power columns, Hil-Rom critical care beds, a family access corridor, a roof-top garden with a soothing water fall, and three family overnight rooms.   Our new CICU opened in the Spring of 2002 for patients falling into such categories as:  post cath lab procedures, post stint/angioplasty procedures, acute MI and CHF recovery and treatment, on and off pump CABG, all type of valve repairs and replacements, and septral defects.
