OB/GYN Physician Job, South Carolina Opportunity

OB/Gyn South Carolina: Seeking BE/BC OB/Gyn.  This practice was established in 1982, by 2 Drs; in 1993, the practice constructed a new office conveniently located within eyesight of the hospital.  The office is equipped to provide a full range of care including high-risk maternity, amniocentesis and in-office LEEP, hysteroscopy, cystoscopy, and extensive urodynamic evaluation.  The group is looking to add another associate.                                           

The maternity and child health area is designated as a regional perinatal center which is a step above Level III designation and is only one of five in the State.  The unit utilizes the single-room maternity concept.  The facility was built in 1990 with an ingenuous blend of “high tech” and “soft touch”.  The centerpiece of the unit includes 18 LDRP suites, which are outfitted with hardwood floors, custom-built furniture, ceiling recessed OR lights, jacuzzi tubs, and HP fetal monitoring system (with laser disk storage).  The unit also includes two operating rooms for C-sections and high-risk deliveries, a 17-bassinet Level III NICU and a 16-bed inpatient unit for C-section and antenatal patients.  The hospital delivers about 1,500 newborns each year. This represents 60% of the deliveries in a seven-county region.
